A business website should help customers understand the offer and contact the right person. CyberKlucz takes a project from identifying needs and organising content through development, testing and handover.
We also establish control over accounts and responsibility after publication. Security, external services and ongoing care are defined in the proposal. You can compare what you commission with what you will receive.
Describe the website you have in mind
When this scope is suitable
You need a new website when your current presentation cannot clearly communicate your services, or your business is establishing its online presence. We first agree who the website is for, which information matters most and what you want from customer contact.
If the existing website meets most needs, it is worth checking whether a limited change would be enough. Taking over and organising a website starts from a different position than building from scratch.
What the base scope includes
First, an agreed content and view structure. We establish which information belongs on the home page and which needs its own page. The design should help someone encountering your business for the first time choose a service and contact you.
Next, responsive development that also fits smaller screens. We choose editing tools for the updates you actually need. A CMS is useful when the business will manage agreed content itself; we do not add features simply because they are available.
The scope includes basic technical SEO, testing and handover. Before starting, we document views, features, materials, feedback rounds and acceptance criteria. Page count is one part of a quote, not the entire definition of quality.
How we check quality
At acceptance, we compare the result with the agreed scope. We check representative views on a computer and phone, navigation, links, contact and editing where the project includes a CMS. The review also covers basic keyboard use, images and readable content.
On the technical side, we verify agreed metadata, URLs, canonical tags, robots rules, the sitemap and HTTPS. We record the result and any limitations. Basic accessibility or security checks do not constitute a full audit or certification.
I do not promise a fixed performance score regardless of device, network and hosting. Measurements should state their conditions, and any significant fault found should have a documented decision about correction.
Security and access
The business should control its domain, hosting and website panel accounts. The developer receives the permissions needed for the work, and handover makes clear how to change or revoke them.
We agree who is responsible for updates and website backups. The record covers the backup location, restoration method and responsibility for an agreed test. Where a real restoration test is needed, we include it in the scope and arrange safe conditions. If the provider restricts access or no test was performed, the documentation says so.
MFA adds confirmation to sign-in, such as an app code alongside a password. MFA configuration, email improvements, DNS changes and broader security work can be separate project elements. I do not guarantee elimination of every risk or recovery of every lost account.
What affects the price
The quote depends on the structure, number of distinct views, features, readiness of materials, editing method and acceptance requirements. An existing website may add migration work and a need to preserve current URLs.
We list extras separately: editing or copywriting, photography, migration, integrations, a shop, and domain, hosting, email or DNS work. Buying and renewing external services must be distinguished from configuring them.
Branding, a logo, an SEO campaign, advertising, applications, unlimited changes and ongoing maintenance are not automatically included. You receive a scope that makes these distinctions clear before commissioning.
How we work together
The initial review covers the website’s purpose, materials, features and available environment. We then agree on scope and acceptance criteria. Agreed design elements pass through approval before development.
During development, we gather feedback in the agreed rounds. A round is one consolidated list of feedback on the version presented within the agreed scope. Fixing a failure to meet the contract does not use a round. See the distinction between feedback, defects and new features. Changes to requirements may affect effort and schedule; the effects should be agreed before extra work is performed.
Publication follows testing and approval by an authorised person. At handover, you receive information about editing, providers, important dates and ongoing responsibilities within the project scope. We agree the schedule after understanding requirements and material availability.
What happens after publication
Support for the completed website and ongoing care need defined terms. If you commission maintenance, we document its scope, work limits, reporting channel, response time and responsibility for hosting.
Without a separate agreement, there is no monitoring, regular updates or 24/7 cover. At acceptance, identify who will handle these tasks.
Questions before commissioning
Are the domain and hosting included?
They are not automatically included in the base scope. We can agree help with selection or configuration, but purchase and renewals are separate items. Your business keeps control of the accounts.
Can I change the offer or photographs myself?
If the project includes a CMS and those editing fields, you receive the relevant permissions and instructions. Before quoting, we identify content you want to change. Not every design element is an unrestricted panel field.
Will you write copy and take photographs?
Editing, copywriting and photography are quoted separately when needed. Materials supplied by the business must be accurate and come with the right to use them.
Will the new website rank highly on Google straight away?
This cannot be guaranteed. Google explains that it does not guarantee every website will be indexed or offer a way to automatically rank first. SEO Starter Guide.
Basic technical SEO prepares a website to be understood by search engines. The project scope must define specific actions, such as titles, content structure, page URLs and removing agreed technical obstacles. For a rebuild, preserving or changing existing URLs is agreed separately.
Visibility depends on many factors and may need further work after publication. Acceptance of the website does not start ongoing content development, search optimisation or an advertising campaign.
At CyberKlucz, the business website with a digital foundation includes basic technical SEO within the agreed scope. Further marketing work requires separate agreement.
Ask for a list of what will be done and how it will be checked at acceptance. You can then compare the result with your order without relying on an undefined promise of “full SEO”.
What will I receive at handover?
The handover scope is recorded in the project agreement. Your business should know where its accounts are, who manages them and when services need renewal. The owner retains control over granting developers permissions.
At acceptance, we agree a list of providers, responsible people and important dates. If the project includes a CMS, we explain content editing and which elements should not be changed independently.
For backups, we record the location, restoration method and responsibility for an agreed test. If no test was performed or provider access restricts it, the documentation must explain this. After migration, we also record its limitations and next steps.
At acceptance, check that you can find this information and that the arrangements match the commissioned scope. Passwords and recovery codes should not go into an ordinary, generally accessible note.
Support after publication is agreed separately: what it covers, how to report issues and the service terms. Handover alone does not establish round-the-clock monitoring or a guaranteed response time.
Details are described in the business website with a digital foundationservice.
Can you use my current website?
We first check your needs and the website’s condition. If a limited repair or improvement is enough, that work can be agreed instead of a full rebuild.
